本设计为广西壮族自治区的宜州至忻城二级公路NO.2合同段施工的K3+000～K5+494.000标段，此地区地形属于山岭重丘区。本标段路线全长为2472.000m，共设有2个平曲线，在所有的圆曲线处都设有缓和曲线。第一个弯道的圆曲线半径为350m,缓和曲线的长度为80m；第二个弯道的圆曲线半径为250m,缓和曲线的长度为80m；整个标段共设有3个竖曲线，半径分别为8300m、8000m和6000m，坡度分别为0.73%、-0.97%、2.73%、-1.84%。路拱采用双向坡面，行车道和硬路肩的坡度值均采用2%，土路肩的坡度值采用3%。本次设计的路面结构设计采用两种方案，分别为水泥混凝土路面和沥青路面。
该公路在山岭重丘区，属于山岭重丘二级公路，查规范得，行车速度为60ｋｍ/h，路基宽度为10m，路面结构经过比选后，拟采用水泥混凝土路面，设计荷载为公路－Ⅱ级。
