SiC particle reinforced aluminum composite material (PRCMC) is a very strong material properties of composites, because the material is fragile and other issues, caused a lot of difficulties in the process, mainly silicon carbide particles are difficult to wear heavy tools and can not subsequently processed accuracy and surface quality, the paper describes the ultrasonic vibration assisted grinding (UVAG) metal matrix composite tool vibration Al / SiC method, UVAG with small amplitude, high frequency, improve the manufacturing process and efficiency combined with traditional grinding and ultrasonic machining ( USM) performance, tool wear and machining surface morphology were studied, in addition to the grinding process parameters influence each other, so we study the appropriate parameters for related experiments in the process, we studied the ultrasonic knife cited loud grinding grinding force, and to explore the influence of each parameter on the tool wear and surface roughness. From this study, we can understand the relationship between grinding parameters and processing characteristics, in addition we can also get the best combination of process parameters, to establish a stable, high-efficiency, high-quality processing.
