Abstract: with the continuous development of manufacturing, automated machinery and equipment emerge as the times require. This kind of automation equipment for the machine to meet the needs of different production process and the mechanism of action, in the design of mechanical kinematic scheme in some institutions are often used in indexing work to step translocation and periodic, and intermittent motion and rest interval with intermittent motion. The mechanism is called intermittent motion mechanism. Intermittent motion mechanism, the main common ratchet mechanism, Geneva mechanism, needle wheel mechanism,Incomplete gear mechanism, cam, indexing cam mechanism, cam linkage mechanism, differential sprocket mechanism etc..
